What This Role Is About

We’re building a Shared Service Center that delivers accounting quality classic offshoring simply can’t match — because certified professionals and AI work hand in hand. You take on the technical and tax leadership.

What You’ll Do

You own tax accuracy across the SSC
From routine bookkeeping to complex edge cases.
You train and monitor AI agents in sensitive areas
You spot errors others miss and let the AI learn from them.
You build and lead the SSC team
You develop clear, auditable processes — ICS- and SOX-ready.
You serve as the technical sparring partner
For clients and colleagues whenever the conversation goes deep on tax.
You establish quality and control standards
You define what accuracy and completeness actually look like in practice.
You manage collaboration with clients
You ensure smooth workflows and clear interfaces.
You develop the service portfolio further
You identify which processes are ripe for the next wave of automation.
You work closely with senior management
You drive the SSC forward strategically.
You own VAT and regulatory filing topics
You ensure timely, accurate submissions.
You support tax audits and external auditors
You’re the confident point of contact for auditors.

What You Bring

Certified tax advisor or tax specialist with genuine depth
You navigate tax law confidently, even off the beaten path.
Leadership experience — or a clear ambition to lead
You want to build and shape a team, not just manage it.
Experience in process and quality management
You think in workflows, controls, and continuous improvement.
An understanding of how AI learns
And the confidence to push back when it gets something wrong.
Solid grasp of ICS and SOX requirements
Auditability and traceability are a given for you.
Structured working style and quality mindset
You’re the quality anchor that automation depends on.
Strong communication skills with clients
You explain complex matters clearly and persuasively.
Entrepreneurial thinking
You see opportunities to develop the SSC further.
 
Professional German at a business-fluent level (written and spoken).
Client communication, contracts, and regulatory documentation require precise command of the German language.
You’re building something of your own — an SSC that sets the standard, rather than just cutting costs. Your expertise becomes the quality anchor.
